Some elders have cognitive deficits but still know how to find ways to go out on their own. They usually steal without the caregiver's attention, such as sleeping in the bedroom, cooking in the bedroom and talking to others on the phone, which is particularly difficult and stressful for families with only one caregiver. Caregivers are advised to install different types of alarms at home according to the living habits of the elders, such as alarms for leaving chair, bed or door, which will sound an alarm whenever the elders get up and leave their chairs or mattresses or open the door to go out, reminding the caregivers to stop the elders from going out on their own.
