We often see many cases of lost cognitively impaired persons in news reports, newspapers or social media. Common characteristics of lost elders include: wandering on the street, staring blankly, looking tired, wearing inappropriate clothing (e.g. pajamas or clothes that are not appropriate for the weather), having difficulty in communication, not having money with them, and wanting to take transportation. If we pay more attention in the community and accompany them to the police for help, it will help the caregivers to find them as soon as possible.
