Decorating the front door
One way to prevent wandering is to decorate the front door to make it look less like a doorway and make it more difficult for patients to find it. There are many ways to do this, such as painting the front door the exact same color as the wall, or putting the same decorations, such as photos, on the doorway and nearby walls. These are easy to find objects.
