Most patients with dementia require 24-hour care and attention. Even if the caregivers do their best to take care of the patients, there will always be times when it is difficult to take care of them or they need help. If the caregivers can help the patients build a community network, it will help prevent the patients from getting lost and reduce the pressure of care.
Family members may introduce the elderly with dementia to the building manager, inform the manager of his/her condition, and ask them to help keep him/her and call to notify him/her if they find the elderly going out alone. Please also leave the elderly’s photo and contact number to the management office so that other managers can help identify him/her.
